C-H-I-C-A-G-O Trivia Night

I feel like when you are on a vacation you need to do touristy things, but more importantly you need to hang out with the locals.

Crystal and I went to a local bar to play some Trivia. Our team name sucked, so don't ask...oh and our team sucked as well haha. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. You clearly can tell what this was ;)

New Years Thoughts

New year, new you. Well, I don't know about all that. I am constantly trying to become the best person I can be, but with a new year it seems like my goals come to the forefront and I think about them more consciously, so here are 12 things I'd like for 2012:

1. Increase the amount I talk on the phone. I am terrible at this and rely on texting.

2. Take a photography and or cooking lesson/ class. These are two things I'm passionate about and I would like to increase my knowledge on.

3. Attend Al-anon or Nar-anon meetings. I know this will help me grow as a person.

4. Let those in my life know how much they mean to me more often.

5. Keep my apartment cleaner.

6. Be a little more selfish.

7. Travel, travel, travel.

8. Devote myself to school and learning about what I love.

9. Learn how to do more things with my blog ( I know what I mean by this, haha).

10. Be healthy.

11. Do something I have never done before. Anything. Just do it. (Nike inspired).

12. Work on being truly happy :).

This was me on New Years this year. Guess I was feeling pretty good, haha

2011- A Review

I can't believe one year has FLOWN by...and thinking back I can barely remember what has happened. Hopefully as I wrack my brain going through the months I remember some things...

January:

I rang in the new year at the local casino with great friends. Amber came to visit from Maryland after her trip from Whales, mind you, she did not even have her luggage yet ;)

Alyssa and I took our first trip to Maine to visit Katie!

Went snowshoeing in Maine

February:

Steven asked me ever-so sweetly to be his Valentine by making magnets of him and I (with Maxwell, of course) and his had a little saying bubble that said "Will you be my Valentine". I chose the "Yes" magnet to put next to mine after I saw it on my fridge <3
