After 8 years, I finally married the man of my dreams.
We began dating right before I turned legal, that's right... at the sweet and innocent age of 17; he was 21--talk about rocking the cradle!! We've been through so much over the last 8 years and it has enabled us to grow into the people we are today; clearly the people we are today can be defined as AWESOME ;) .
Last May, on our 7 year anniversary, he began the proposal process, yes...there was a process, with one of the most creative and well thought out proposals I have ever seen. I may be bias, but probably not.
Take a look at our wedding website to see some details on this: www.stevenandangie.com
After a year of planning we finally 'sealed the deal' so-to-speak on our 8 year anniversary in Sandy Hook, NJ with 90 of the most fantastic people we have ever met (and who have learned to appreciate and love my crazy and sarcastic self.) Everything was exactly how I wanted it to be: simple and beautiful. The process was exhausting as a DIY wedding is not even close to easy, but I wouldn't have changed it for anything. Having a unique wedding that fit our personality was worth all the anxiety, tears, sweat and numerous hospitalizations (just kidding on the last one.) And I proudly say that I managed to NOT become a bridezilla, which is a win in itself. Without further ado, here are some photos of my wedding day <3
If the question is "Should I do first look photos" the answer is "yes."
I cannot even begin to describe my love for them.
Goodbye hunger pains. Hello delicious BBQ.
"We can do no great things; only small things with great love"
and that is exactly what my wedding day consisted of. I hope you enjoy <3
